I wish to acknowledge that my work as a psychotherapist takes place on traditional Indigenous territories here in Ontario. I acknowledge that I am a settler on Turtle Island and that I live and work on land that is not my native land. Krysta Szkarlat Psychotherapy is located on lands of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Mississauga, and Anishinaabe. I am thankful to the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for the land and water for generations, and I am dedicated to moving forward in the spirit of respect and reconciliation by honouring the history and culture of Indigenous people.
